What is public

Comments, the name (alias) you choose, your fingerprint, Ban, and Trust are published on Freenet for that page. Anyone who loads that page’s thread can read them.

What stays on this computer

Mute, the bit filter, alias, and a short thread cache stay in this browser (chrome.storage.local). The identity seed stays in the Freenet vault on this machine, not in Chrome sync.

What the extension reads

The URL of the active tab, so comments belong to this page. That URL is not sent to a FreePinion server.

Network

The extension talks only to Freenet on this computer (127.0.0.1:7509 and localhost:7509).
